YubiPan nitrated
A selected steel grade is used here, which is “nitrided” during production. Strictly speaking, we do not use nitriding, but so called nitro-caburization, because this has a hardening effect in addition to the rust protection effect. This means our nitrided Handpans are good for players who like to play a little vigorous and faster.
Tonal they differ only on detail, roughly speaking both materials sound almost the same except the shorter sustain.
In essence, it sounds only slightly shorter than the stainless steel handpans.
