Custom – choose your own scale

If you fallen in love with a tuning but it’s not in our shop – no problem! We build everything that is possible or even more 😉 Even if you only have a video of a tuning, we’ll figure out the scale and happily build it! Or imagine how your Handpan should sound, just tell us your idea and we will create a personal tuning. With music-experience and the experience in building Handpans since the Handpan got the attention, we can advice you with expertise.

9 tones = 1450€
10 tones = 1510€
13 notes (4 on the bottom) = 2000€

Also possible: more tonefields or tonefield on the bottom side of the Handpan. The exact price depends on the effort, like how deep or high the tuning will be, just ask and we gladly make an offer.

This is our creation of the “classic” Handpan.

Yubi is ja –pan– nese (pronounced: youbi) and means finger – we thougt thats a more appropriate name, ’cause the tonal surfaces of a handpan are actually played with the finger, rather less with the whole hand.

Like the Caisa, the YubiPan will be made by hand and every single hammer blow is made by muscle power. Thats about 20.000 hammer blows for each instrument!

The diameter is 53cm, the height is about 22.5cm and has a weight of only about 3.5Kg. Since the tones are worked out by hand, the height can vary slightly, depending on the tuning.
It is therefore relatively small, this makes the handpan even easier to play.

As with the stainless steel Caisa, the surface and color depends on a heat treatment and is therefore naturally unique with every YubiPan.
